Huang Licheng Launches TAIWAN Meme Token on Robinhood Chain

ChainCatcher reported that on-chain analyst Ember monitored the launch of the TAIWAN meme token by Huang Licheng on Robinhood Chain. Ember said Huang later spent about 16,700 USDC to buy roughly 27.56 million TAIWAN tokens during the evening. The purchase was valued at about $600,000 based on the market value cited in the report. Ember advised against participating in the token, citing Huang’s previous launches of meme tokens. Ember also referred to Bobaoppa, a meme coin Huang launched for his dog in 2024. The project raised about 220,000 SOL, worth roughly $40 million, but only about 60,000 SOL was added to the liquidity pool. The remaining SOL was retained for personal use, according to Ember’s monitoring. Bobaoppa also carried an approximately 8.75% transaction tax. The token has now nearly fallen to zero, the report said.

Long launches NVDA 3x token on Robinhood Chain as AI meme briefly tops $213 million

Long rolled out LongX on Sept. 1 on Robinhood Chain, introducing NVDA 3x Long, or NVDAx3L, as its first product. The token wraps a 3x leveraged Nvidia position from Lighter into an ERC-20 format and launched alongside the demo pair DEMOTHREE/NVDAx3L. By press time, DEMOTHREE had reached a peak market capitalization of $6 million with roughly $3.2 million in trading volume. On the same day, AI, short for Artificial Inu and the first NVDA-paired meme token on Long, climbed to about $213 million in market capitalization, according to GMGN data. The article outlines how LongX works, including open minting through a vault contract, NAV-based issuance and redemption, and state-proof-based valuation submitted from Lighter to Robinhood Chain. It also details Long’s claim that fees from liquidity provision, minting, and trading activity tied to NVDAx3L will flow back to AI, while warning that the setup is "highly experimental" and that only the official demo pair is protected for now. Foresight’s report also compares Long with rivals including RobinVista, Pons, and Bankr, and highlights Community Mode as Long’s main structural differentiator. The piece closes with a review of risks tied to stock-paired meme tokens and the added exposure introduced by leveraged versions.

Robinhood’s On-Chain Ecosystem Draws Capital Into Meme Tokens and Stock-Paired Markets

Robinhood’s on-chain ecosystem has produced a wide range of meme tokens, launchpad projects, NFTs, DeFi protocols and stock-paired markets in less than two weeks, according to an analysis published by TechFlow. As of Sept. 1, the ecosystem had at least 30 meme tokens with market capitalizations above $1 million and 28 application tokens. BONER, paired with a tokenized version of HIMS stock, rose from an $8 million valuation to $80 million in a single day. During the New York Stock Exchange’s weekend closure, the on-chain HIMS token reportedly traded as high as $132, compared with HIMS’ $28.8 Friday close. Artificial Inu, or AI, which is paired with tokenized Nvidia stock, reached a market capitalization of $190 million. Other stock-linked pools included Micron, SpaceX, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, QUBT, SPY and ZEC-related projects. Infrastructure tokens also gained attention. UP generated about $180,000 in fees from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1, while PONS, HOOKR, INDEX, DENAR and PICKLES represented launchpad, liquidity, stock-distribution, lending and AI-trading themes. The analysis also covered MARKETPLIER, launched after Markiplier became GoPro’s largest single shareholder, and several smaller sentiment-driven tokens.

Robinhood Chain’s surge is being driven by memes and trading tools, not stock-token holders

Robinhood Chain has been pitched around tokenized equities, but its first real burst of on-chain activity has come from somewhere else. Early traction on the network is being driven largely by meme launches, short-term trading, launchpads, bots and trading terminals rather than long-term investors accumulating tokenized versions of NVIDIA or Apple. According to DefiLlama data cited in the source article, Robinhood Chain had about $720 million in DeFi total value locked as of Aug. 31, 2026, stablecoins worth roughly $775 million on-chain, and rolling 24-hour DEX volume near $1.32 billion, a figure already above TVL. Pons has emerged as the dominant launchpad after Noxa stopped operating, while GMGN and FOMO together accounted for about 71.2% of trading-terminal volume based on Dune data referenced in the report. The article argues that Robinhood Chain’s more distinctive experiments lie in connecting memes to stock tokens, turning NFTs into programmable financial wrappers, and building infrastructure for agent-based trading and payments. At the same time, the report says much of the activity still carries signs of early sentiment premium, while lasting demand for holding, lending, payments and on-chain asset management tied to stock tokens remains unproven.

Weekly crypto leaderboard: STX jumps 121.2% while LAB posts the steepest drop

Crypto prices broadly advanced over the past week, but the gains were far from uniform. Drawing on weekly performance data for the top 100 tokens on CoinGecko, Odaily separated the market into three groups: sharp gainers, moderate risers, and the few names that fell even as the broader market moved higher. STX led the field with a 121.2% weekly gain, making it the biggest outlier among the top performers and the only non-Meme token at the very top of the list. CASHCAT, ENA, PENGU, TRUMP, ZEC, PUMP, MELANIA, and PEPE also ranked among the strongest movers, with weekly gains ranging from 49.3% to 102.2%. A second tier of tokens posted gains between 10% and 20%, including LDO, WLD, MORPHO, LINEA, NEAR, HBAR, ASTER, ETHFI, BNB, and ONDO. Odaily said this group was more closely tied to fundamentals and infrastructure themes than the first wave of narrative-led rallies. On the downside, only a handful of tokens fell during the same period. JELLYJELLY, WLFI, JTO, and LAB all posted weekly losses, with LAB down 13%, the weakest showing in the sample. All figures in the report were current as of Aug. 26.

CZ says he will stop using wallet address after meme token transfers trigger speculation

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said community members were overinterpreting activity tied to one of his wallet addresses after he tried to burn some meme tokens while testing Trust Wallet. In a post on Binance Square, Zhao said the wallet had become so crowded with meme tokens that even finding BNB was difficult, prompting him to remove some of the tokens. That action, he said, quickly drew discussion from the community. Zhao said he then realized the address could never really be cleaned up because more users would keep sending tokens to it each time he burned some. He added that blockchain transparency means any action involving the address is likely to be scrutinized and read into by others. Zhao also said he had considered asking the Trust Wallet team to build an "Ignore Coin" feature to keep the interface from being flooded, but said such a tool would be unnecessary for 99.99% of users. He said the plan now is to donate the BNB in the wallet, along with the "Binance Life" token bought with BNB, to Giggle Academy. After that, he will stop using the address and let it become a burn address.
