Trump posts third presidential ranking chart, puts himself alone in “The Greatest” tier

U.S. President Donald Trump posted a third version of his presidential tier list on Truth Social on Sept. 7, placing himself alone in the top category, “The Greatest,” above Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Franklin D. Roosevelt, who were grouped one tier lower under “Great.” The chart, which Trump has now revised three times since Aug. 27, listed 43 presidents across six categories and did not include any written explanation in any of the three posts. According to the report, the latest version moved Ulysses S. Grant up three tiers over the course of the revisions, while Woodrow Wilson fell two tiers. Biden, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Warren Harding, Jimmy Carter, and Herbert Hoover were placed in the bottom “Failures” category. The report also said the chart’s framework closely tracks a 1948 LIFE magazine survey of 55 scholars organized by Harvard historian Arthur Schlesinger Sr. That ranking stands in sharp contrast with modern academic surveys. In the 2024 Presidential Greatness Project, scholars ranked Lincoln first, Franklin D. Roosevelt second, Washington third, and Trump last among 45 presidents. A CNN/SSRS poll from May, cited in the report, found that 53% of Republican voters named Trump as the Republican president they admired most, compared with 18% for Ronald Reagan and 8% for Lincoln.

AI majors still rank high with applicants, but bachelor graduates trail materials and mechanical engineering in pay

Artificial intelligence remains one of the hottest university majors in China, yet salary data for undergraduate graduates shows a much narrower payoff than the market’s fixation on AI compensation suggests. The report says 2025 graduates majoring in AI earned a monthly income of 7,084 yuan, roughly in line with the broader engineering average, while only 56% worked in jobs closely related to their field of study. Nearly 30% moved into unrelated roles because they could not find matching openings. At the same time, the biggest compensation packages in AI are still clustered around a small pool of candidates: people from top labs, those with strong competition records, or applicants with master’s and doctoral degrees. Data cited in the piece shows 46.98% of AI technical roles in 2025 explicitly required postgraduate credentials, and pay for core positions such as large-model algorithm engineers was close to three times that of support roles. By contrast, undergraduate graduates in materials science and mechanical engineering, once often labeled as difficult majors, have seen salary growth of more than 25% over the past five years. The article argues that industry demand tied to chips, new energy and advanced manufacturing has pulled those fields closer to expanding job opportunities, while universities are still working to close the gap between AI education and actual labor-market demand.

Glassnode says privacy coins are the year’s standout as most crypto sectors remain below prior highs

Glassnode’s latest market breakdown shows a sharp split inside crypto performance over the past year. Bitcoin is down 36% from its October 2025 all-time high, and the median drawdown across the top 200 digital assets by market capitalization stands at 58%. Yet the privacy coin segment has moved the other way, rising 213% and becoming the only sector to push above its previous peak. The report says the market value of privacy coins in the top 200 climbed from $7.1 billion a year ago to $33.6 billion, with nearly half of that increase arriving in the past 30 days. Zcash (ZEC) drove much of the move, surging 2,496% over the period and accounting for 62% of the sector’s market cap. Monero (XMR), Dash (DASH), and Horizen (ZEN) also outperformed Bitcoin over the last 90 days. Glassnode adds that the latest 30-day rally has been broad, with 91.5% of the top 200 assets posting gains, the widest monthly rebound in that dataset. Even so, only 25 assets are up on a one-year basis, which points to a market where gains have been concentrated rather than evenly shared.

Alibaba Launches QoderWake 1.0: Nearly 100,000 Digital Employees Can Collaborate in Teams

Alibaba has launched QoderWake 1.0, a platform that transforms AI agents into digital employees for enterprise workflows. The system features 10 pre-defined roles (frontend, backend, product manager, data analyst, content operator, etc.) and supports custom role creation. The key upgrade in version 1.0 is team collaboration: multiple Wakers can join a group, tasks are split by responsibilities, and a cooperative SOP defines the execution order. For instance, a product manager Waker writes requirements, a developer Waker writes specs and code, and a tester Waker runs tests, with failures returned to the developer. QoderWake integrates with DingTalk, Feishu, and WeCom, allowing group discussions to inform subsequent tasks. Tasks can be triggered manually, via schedule, business events, or API. Over the past three months, nearly 100,000 Wakers have been created, executing about 20 million effective tasks, half of which were auto-triggered.
