TEAMtalk reports that Chelsea have joined Galatasaray in the hunt for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yasin Ayari. The outlet also says contract negotiations between Ayari and Brighton have stalled.
Contract situation
Ayari is a 23-year-old Sweden international. His current contract expires at the end of the season, and Brighton have an option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.
Sources confirmed to TEAMtalk that Brighton have yet to activate that clause. TEAMtalk understands Brighton and Ayari have been discussing fresh terms since before the summer.
