Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. James Maddison suffered an injury in the match and was taken off after 51 minutes, with manager Roberto De Zerbi saying afterwards that he would have a scan and a medical check.
Maddison set for checks
When asked how Maddison was, De Zerbi said: "No, I think it’s not so important, but we have to make scan, we have to make medical check tomorrow. After tomorrow…"
Sky Sports reported during the game that Maddison's injury was a groin injury.
