TEAMtalk reports that Everton are showing interest in Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi. A report said scouts from Everton, Newcastle and Leeds are set to watch him when Brugge face Lens in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Tresoldi on Everton's list
Tresoldi has scored nine goals in 12 appearances across all competitions this season so far. TEAMtalk said Het Laatste Niuews, as cited by Sport Witness, reported that Everton, Newcastle and Leeds are set to send scouts to watch Tresoldi on Wednesday.
Other clubs set to scout
TEAMtalk said the same report noted that Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are also set to scout Tresoldi.
Everton's striker plans
TEAMtalk has consistently reported that Everton intend to bring in a new striker in January. David Moyes has been left with just one recognised striker, Thierno Barry, after Everton sold Beto to Fiorentina but failed to bring in a replacement.
Everton were close to signing Folarin Balogun from Monaco before that deal collapsed, and a late attempt to sign Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee also failed.
Other targets and January investment claim
TEAMtalk said Everton's owners, The Friedkin Group, are willing to invest in the squad in January despite being open to selling the club and looking to finalise the sale this season. TEAMtalk said on October 11 that Everton have emerged as leading contenders to sign Rennes striker Esteban Lepaul, who has scored 27 goals in 44 games for the French side since joining in the summer of 2025. TEAMtalk said on October 13 that Dinamo Zagreb striker Dion Beljo is another player on Everton's radar; he has scored 15 goals in 15 games this season, and he has also scored for Croatia.
