Cesc Fabregas said the Como shirt worn by Ciro in a photo posted on Antonela Roccuzzo's Instagram account was a gift from him. Italian media had claimed Ciro chose a Como shirt out of admiration for Nico Paz, which Fabregas dismissed.
Fabregas explains the shirt
Fabregas told Sky, in comments carried by Football Italia: "I am the one who gave him that shirt. Our wives, our children and I have been close friends for many years, and I have sent them a lot of Como shirts."
What was on the back
Fabregas said: "It's my shirt. The name Fabregas is written on the back, and the number is 4, of course."
