Niclas Füllkrug came off the bench for Werder Bremen in the DFB Cup against Borussia Dortmund and scored twice, only for Marcel Sabitzer to seal the game with a stoppage-time free-kick. Werder had fought back from two goals down to make it 2-2 before the late winner.
How the game unfolded
Borussia Dortmund led 2-0 through goals from Serhou Guirassy and Carney Chukwuemeka. In the 65th minute, Füllkrug scored from the penalty spot after Julian Ryerson pulled Mick Schmetgens to the ground in the penalty area.
Füllkrug then scored Werder Bremen's 2-2 equaliser after a solo run that began at the centre circle. Asked by Sebastian Hellmann about the move leading up to the goal, Sky pundit Fabian Kloß said: "Unbelievable. I've never seen him score a goal like that. If you smelled him now, all you'd smell is sweat and pure self-confidence. And joy at playing for Werder Bremen."
Sabitzer scored with a free-kick in stoppage time.
Füllkrug after the match
Asked by Sky after the game how he keeps managing to score, Füllkrug said: "I don't know either. But that's not what it's about. And that's the key: that it isn't about that."
Füllkrug called the defeat "very bitter".
He also said: "it's not the end of the world for us now, either, you have to say that in all honesty"
Goals and record talk

Squad comments and other remarks
Füllkrug said: "We have 26 players in the squad and we said back in the summer that we need every single one of them. And the players earned this chance."
On Saturday, appearing on ZDF 's current Sportstudio programme, he stressed again: "I'm not playing for a call-up. I'm playing for Werder."
Asked about his chances under Germany coach Jürgen Klopp, he replied briefly and bluntly: "I'm simply not interested."
