Before Tuesday's match against FC Porto, PSV made two changes from the side that faced RB Leipzig. Ahead of the game, Ruud Gullit said Ryan Flamingo makes him nervous at times when he is on the ball.
Two changes in PSV's defence
PSV made two changes to the side that faced RB Leipzig for Tuesday evening's match against FC Porto. Yarek Gasiorowski started in defence instead of Armando Obispo. In central defence, Bosz paired Gasiorowski with Lutsharel Geertruida.
Gullit's view on Flamingo
Ruud Gullit said: "Especially when he's on the ball. He makes me nervous at times. So I think he needs to gain a bit more confidence."
Gullit on PSV's attacking issue
Ruud Gullit said: "But then you need to get players into the penalty area in time. And that hardly ever happens; they struggle with it a bit. Especially because three strikers are absent."
Amrabat disagrees with the selection
Nordin Amrabat told Ziggo Sport he would not have made the choice to start Gasiorowski instead of Obispo. Amrabat said: "He's taken Obispo out. I would have gone for Ryan Flamingo because he's up against Samu , who's a beast at 1.95 metres tall."
