Simone Inzaghi selected 11 foreign players for Al-Hilal's trip to Al-Qadsiah on 23 October, although only eight can be in the Roshn League matchday squad.

Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi named 11 foreign players in his squad for the Saudi Roshn League clash with Al-Qadsiah. Al-Hilal travel to face Al-Qadsiah on Friday 23 October at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam in the eleventh round.

Roshn League limit

Roshn League rules allow each side a maximum of eight foreign players in the matchday squad. For the Al-Qadsiah game, Inzaghi will pick only eight foreign players in his squad.

Travel plans for Dammam

Arriyadiyah reports that Inzaghi will take all 11 of his foreign players on the road trip to Dammam on Thursday evening to face Al-Qadsiah.

Next stop Doha

After the Al-Qadsiah match, Al-Hilal will travel by road to Doha to meet Al-Shamal on Monday in the third round of the AFC Champions League Elite. The AFC Champions League Elite sets no cap on foreign numbers.

Arriyadiyah adds that Inzaghi plans several changes against Al-Shamal, rotating his squad and resting a number of key men.

League and continental standings

Al-Hilal are second in the Saudi League on 24 points, one behind leaders Al-Qadsiah, who have played a game more. In the AFC Champions League Elite, Al-Hilal have won both their opening matches and are third in the West Group on six points, behind Al-Ain and Esteghlal on goal difference.
