Results and standings
United lost 4-1 away to Como in the Champions League, a result that left them in 20th position in the League Phase table after two losses in their opening three European games. Manchester United are winless in their last seven games across all competitions, and during that run they have lost to Manchester City, Brighton, Atletico Madrid and Como.
They sit 13th in the Premier League after winning one league fixture all season. Michael Carrick responded by questioning the overall work rate of his players.
Fitness concerns and Bournemouth schedule
GOAL said Michael Carrick has fitness concerns over several key players, including Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martínez, Ayden Heaven, and Benjamin Sesko. Bournemouth travelled to face AC Milan in the Europa League on Thursday while Manchester United rested.
