Joaquin Seys said he is focused on Club Brugge, Diego Leon's agent raised a possible January loan, and Antonio Conte denied advanced talks.

FootballTransfers compiled transfer updates involving several linked figures, with Joaquin Seys saying he is not currently thinking about leaving Club Brugge and Antonio Conte issuing a statement denying advanced negotiations with Man Utd or any other clubs.

Seys addresses his future

When asked about his future, Seys told VTM: "To be honest, I’m not really thinking about that yet."

He also said: "This is the club I love, so it’s wonderful that I’ve already been able to play so many matches here. This club is close to my heart, and I would give everything for it. Right now, I’m focusing entirely on Club Brugge, and we’ll see what happens after that."

Leon camp raises loan option

According to his agent, Diego Leon is ready to push for a January loan move away from Man Utd.

His agent told ABC Deportes: "If there isn’t a plan to break into the first team between December and January, we’ll look for a way out for him. A loan somewhere where he can compete, get playing time, and return to Manchester."

Batrakov claims cited

FootballTransfers said Arsenal and Liverpool have joined the race for Galatasaray midfielder Aleksey Batrakov, citing TEAMtalk.

FootballTransfers also said Man Utd were unable to sign Aleksey Batrakov from Lokomotiv Moscow due to the sanctions regime, which prohibits the transfer of funds to Russian entities.

FootballTransfers said it is claimed that Aleksey Batrakov has a €60 million release clause in his contract.

Conte issues statement

Conte posted on his Instagram account: "Following recent media reports in Italy, I feel it is appropriate to clarify my position."

He added: "My name has been linked with numerous clubs, but there are currently no negotiations at an advanced stage."

Conte also said: "Following a wonderful and successful spell in charge of Napoli, I will take the time I need to consider how and when to return to management. It will be a carefully considered decision, one I will make when I believe the conditions are right."

He further said: "I have read reports of financial demands and requests for full control that I have supposedly already made to the clubs mentioned, as well as reservations about what has been described as my ‘strong personality’. These reports are unfounded, as there is currently no concrete basis for such assessments."
