Binance launches user rewards campaign with 20 million USDC pool and yields of up to 10%

Binance has rolled out a user rewards campaign, according to an official announcement cited by ChainCatcher. Eligible users do not need to register and can join automatically by completing qualifying trades during the event window, which runs from Nov. 2, 2026 at 19:30 to Nov. 22, 2026 at 07:59 Beijing time. The campaign combines trading incentives with boosted returns on selected savings products. The first part of the promotion offers users who have completed KYC and meet compliance requirements a 100 USDC spot trading fee rebate voucher. After claiming it, users can receive a daily rebate equal to 30% of remaining spot trading fees after referral commissions are deducted. In parallel, users who reach at least $10,000 in cumulative valid trading volume across spot, margin, convert, USD-M or COIN-M futures, bStocks, and stock trading pairs can share a total prize pool of 20 million USDC based on their share of trading volume, with a cap of 4,000 USDC per user. VIP 3 and above users, market makers, and brokers are excluded from this trading reward pool. The second part adds tiered yield boosts to several stablecoin products, including USDC, USDT, RWUSD, and BFUSD. Binance said some of the offers can lift annualized returns to as high as 10%, while users borrowing stablecoins for arbitrage will not qualify for the tiered yield bonus.

Arkham says Binance hacker sent $4 million to three Binance deposit addresses

Arkham said on-chain monitoring shows that a Binance hacker transferred $4 million to three Binance deposit addresses. The firm added that the addresses may belong to nested services, referring to third-party trading platforms that use Binance for liquidity and custody. Because of that, the transfers do not necessarily mean the hacker deposited funds directly into the Binance exchange itself. The update was cited by Odaily in a brief market alert.

Crypto.com says it will phase out services in Hong Kong starting next February

Crypto.com has emailed users in Hong Kong to say it will gradually stop providing services there, citing "regulatory changes." The company said it will share detailed arrangements and asset withdrawal instructions through email and its app. Its app service is scheduled to stop in February next year. Separately, Foris DAX HK Limited filed an application for a virtual asset trading platform license in February 2024 and is still awaiting a final decision from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. The company is currently deemed to be licensed, which allows it to continue offering related services for now, but the regulator has stated that it has not yet been formally licensed and that the application remains under review. The development was reported by HK01.

Bitcoin slips toward $77,900 as derivatives volume jumps without a rise in open interest

Bitcoin fell back to around $77,900 as several market signals pointed to weaker near-term demand. After Binance resumed withdrawals in stages on Sunday, the exchange processed $4.65 billion in withdrawals and $1.01 billion in deposits, leaving a net outflow of $3.64 billion. Binance said it has now covered about 95% of the $6.3 billion tied to the theft, while the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation formally attributed the incident to North Korea’s TraderTraitor group. On the institutional side, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $643 million in net outflows on Friday, the largest one-day withdrawal since June and enough to erase the previous four straight days of inflows. In derivatives, crypto futures trading volume rose 56% over 24 hours to $111.8 billion, but total open interest was little changed at $137.1 billion. That combination suggests heavier trading activity without a meaningful build in fresh positions. Liquidations climbed 77% to $140.2 million, while BTC and ETH futures open interest both showed limited movement. On Deribit, the three most actively traded BTC options over the past 24 hours were all puts, according to CoinDesk.

21Shares says spot Bitcoin ETFs overtook public treasury firms as the main BTC buyer in Q3

21Shares said in its third-quarter 2026 Bitcoin market report that BTC rose 42.7% during the quarter, while the market’s demand mix shifted in a notable way. According to the report, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted net purchases of 79,800 BTC, worth about $6.2 billion, nearly twice the 41,300 BTC added through newly mined supply over the same period. The firm said that made spot ETFs the market’s main source of demand, replacing Bitcoin treasury companies. By comparison, purchases by Bitcoin treasury firms fell from $7.1 billion in the second quarter to about $1 billion in the third quarter. The report also said long-term holders sold 248,000 BTC in Q3, valued at roughly $17.4 billion, close to three times the amount accumulated by ETFs in the same period. On the mining side, miner revenue in September 2026 moved 6% above estimated total mining costs, ending a 10-month stretch below break-even. Still, transaction fees covered only 0.67% of the Bitcoin network’s $2.96 billion security cost in the third quarter.

Celestia unveils Voyager, a payment chain built for AI agent micropayments

Celestia has introduced Voyager, a new payment chain designed around data availability separation and a parallel state machine architecture for high-frequency micropayments between autonomous AI agents. In the company’s benchmark tests, Voyager reached a peak throughput of 21 million transactions per second and, by Celestia’s calculation, could support more than 1.8 trillion on-chain micropayment settlements in a single day. The project is positioned as infrastructure for an internet increasingly driven by software agents that buy compute, call APIs, coordinate trades, and settle tiny payments in real time. According to the article, Voyager strips execution down to lightweight balance-transfer logic rather than a general-purpose smart contract model. It archives state on top of Celestia’s data availability layer and uses a parallel, sharded state validation design to avoid execution bottlenecks. Celestia also said light clients can verify payment settlement through data availability sampling without downloading full blocks. In tests run across a globally distributed cloud server cluster with hundreds of nodes, the network maintained 21M TPS, millisecond-level single-slot confirmation latency, and showed no memory leaks or fork delays. The team said the next phase will focus on production deployment of a decentralized sequencer network and native integrations with major AI frameworks and agent orchestration tools.

US stocks face a packed week of earnings, midterms and jobs data after a bruising sell-off

US equities are heading into another high-stakes week after a sharp technology-led sell-off tied to disappointing earnings from Alphabet, Amazon and Intel. The Nasdaq Composite fell 2.86% on Friday, Oct. 30, marking its worst single-day performance in months, while the index dropped more than 5.3% for October, its steepest monthly decline in roughly a year and a half. Attention now shifts to a fresh round of corporate results, with Apple and Palantir set to report after the close on Monday Eastern Time, alongside ON Semiconductor and Lattice Semiconductor. Apple is drawing particular scrutiny after Google, Amazon and Meta were sold off over AI spending concerns. Investors are watching iPhone 18 sales, the cost impact of memory shortages, and the company’s AI roadmap. The earnings call will also be John Ternus’s first as Apple’s new CEO following Tim Cook’s departure. Beyond earnings, markets are bracing for Tuesday’s US midterm elections and Friday’s October nonfarm payrolls report. ING strategist Francesco Pesole said a full Democratic win in both chambers could be mildly negative for the dollar. Economists expect 55,000 jobs were added in October, up from the prior reading of 29,000. Morgan Stanley said the S&P 500 may still have about 5% downside in the near term, even as November has historically been one of the market’s strongest seasonal months.
