bitFlyer Europe Secures MiCA CASP License from Luxembourg CSSF, First Japanese Exchange to Do So
BitFlyer Europe, a subsidiary of Japanese crypto exchange bitFlyer Holdings, has obtained a MiCA CASP license from the Luxembourg financial regulator CSSF, effective June 26. This marks the first time a Japanese crypto exchange has received a MiCA CASP license, allowing bitFlyer to offer cross-border crypto services across all 27 EU member states. The move signifies the entry of Japanese exchanges into the EU's unified regulatory framework under MiCA.
