Ignas pitches tokenized stock LPs as a way to capture meme trading fees

DeFi researcher Ignas argues that traders do not need to buy meme coins directly to benefit from the latest speculative wave. In his view, a better route is to provide liquidity to tokenized stock pairs and related pools, then collect the fees generated by high-frequency meme trading and arbitrage. He points to Robinhood Chain, which launched in July and has already posted $1.66 billion in DEX volume, $16.98 million in 24-hour app fees, $833 million in stablecoins, $2.6 billion in cross-chain TVL, $387 million in perpetual volume, and $757 million in TVL. Ignas says those figures translate into unusually high fee opportunities for liquidity providers. He highlights meme and stock-linked pairs such as AI/NVDA, BONER/HIMS, MOO/MU, NUDES/SNAP, and LIGMA/FIG, while naming HOOD/USDG, NVDA/USDG, RBLX/USDG, and DJT/USDG as preferred stock/USDG pools. Drawing on data shared by @0xSammy and scopl.live, Ignas says some of these pools rank among the highest fee generators on-chain. He also lists tools he uses to search and manage LP positions, including Revert, scopl.live, vfat.tools, Merkl, and AI assistants such as Claude, Grok, and ChatGPT.

Fables nears end of points campaign as Robinhood Chain market-maker faces token and timing questions

Fables, a dynamic-fee market-making protocol built on Robinhood Chain with a Uniswap v4 Hook architecture, is approaching the end of its six-week points campaign. The program runs from Aug. 24 to Oct. 5, 2026, and the project previously said on X that Oct. 5 would bring the close of the points program alongside the Fables token generation event, gauge launch, voting and staking. Yet documentation on fables.fi labels that date as unconfirmed, leaving a visible discrepancy between two official channels. The protocol offers liquidity provision for tokenized U.S. equity markets quoted in USDG, including ETH, GLD, SPY, AAPL and NVDA pairs. Fables says fees are assigned through three proprietary models, with a limited offchain keeper able to make temporary adjustments within pre-set bounds. As of publication, the protocol had roughly $8.4 million in deposits and about $75.3 million in cumulative trading volume. The article also lays out the project’s team background, current security disclosures, the mechanics of the points campaign, and the proposed token structure for FABLES and PROLOGUE. It notes that no independent third-party audit report with named auditors, commit hashes, scope and findings has been published so far, and that key token details, redemption contracts and eligibility snapshots remain unsettled.

How an unofficial FAMI token helped send Farmmi stock up about 350% intraday

Farmmi, the Nasdaq-listed mushroom seller trading under ticker FAMI, briefly jumped from $0.12 to $0.50 on Sept. 2, with volume hitting 720 million shares, roughly 90 times its daily average. The trigger was not an official tokenized-stock mechanism on Robinhood Chain, but a meme coin called JINQIAN paired with an onchain asset using the FAMI ticker. GMGN data showed JINQIAN reached an implied valuation of about $60 million at its peak, around 10 times Farmmi’s market capitalization at the time. A key detail, though, is that the onchain FAMI token was not an official Robinhood-issued stock token. Onchain analyst riley_gmi said on X that FAMI was not on Robinhood’s official tokenized-stock list. The episode highlighted a different transmission path: not mint-and-redeem arbitrage tied to real shares, but attention, confusion, and social media spillover that may have pushed traders into the actual stock.

CBB details 10-month Hyperliquid stock-perp arbitrage run that generated $10 million

Trader CBB has published a full account of a 10-month arbitrage strategy he ran with his brother across Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 markets and Interactive Brokers (IBKR), describing how the pair went from having almost no traditional finance experience to trading a combined $32 billion in volume and making about $10 million in profit. The strategy began after HIP-3 launched on Hyperliquid in October 2025 and Unit/TradeXYZ rolled out its first stock perpetual market three days later. CBB said the pair used IBKR quotes as the reference price and built bots to capture discrepancies between stock perpetuals on Hyperliquid and corresponding positions in traditional markets. The write-up includes detailed operational milestones and failures. In November 2025, the strategy generated roughly $850 million in volume and more than $500,000 in profit. In January 2026, as gold and silver markets surged, monthly volume rose to about $1.7 billion and funding income alone exceeded $600,000. That same month, however, stale IBKR interface data caused the bot to repeatedly add short gold futures positions to offset a mismatch that did not exist, leaving the account net short $120 million in gold futures. CBB said he manually closed the position after landing in Dubai, locking in a $1.1 million loss. After adding new risk controls, the pair resumed trading and, according to CBB, recovered roughly $600,000 the next day when silver pulled back and a spread of about 3% opened between Hyperliquid and IBKR. By early September 2026, he said institutional participation had increased and Ethena had announced plans to enter stock basis trading, suggesting the opportunity may be nearing its end.

Machi Big Brother Launches TAIWAN on Robinhood Chain With TSM as Its Main Trading Pair

Machi Big Brother, the public persona of Jeffrey Huang, has launched Taiwan Coin (TAIWAN) on Robinhood Chain, and the market reaction has centered less on the meme token’s theme than on how it trades. Instead of pairing primarily against ETH or a stablecoin, TAIWAN’s main market is against TSM, a stock token on Robinhood Chain that offers economic exposure to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. That structure lets traders buy and sell a meme token directly with a tokenized stock product, turning the TAIWAN/TSM pool into a live example of how tokenized assets can be used as pricing units and liquidity assets rather than simple wrappers. According to on-chain data cited by ABMedia, Huang minted TAIWAN through machibigbrother.eth at 1:46 a.m. Taipei time on Sept. 1. Market data showed the token’s value jumped within five minutes of launch, with peak estimates ranging from about $1.07 million to $1.59 million depending on how different charting tools calculated last price, circulating supply, and pool pricing. By the morning of Sept. 1, the market value had fallen to roughly $180,000, implying a decline of nearly 88% from the $1.59 million peak. The report places the launch in the context of Robinhood Chain’s broader push into programmable tokenized markets, where stock tokens can be traded around the clock, used in lending pools, posted as collateral, and paired directly with other ERC-20 assets.

FAMI and JINQIAN Surge on Robinhood Chain as Traders Tie Rally to Rune’s Nasdaq Tokenization Post

A sharp rally in two Robinhood Chain tokens, FAMI and JINQIAN, has fueled speculation that on-chain meme trading may be spilling into a Nasdaq-listed stock story. According to GMGN data cited by BlockBeats, the two tokens climbed to market capitalizations above $40 million and $50 million, with one-hour trading volumes expanding to $47 million and $35 million. Traders linked the move to a Sept. 1 post from crypto KOL Rune, who said he had acquired most of the shares of a Nasdaq-listed company with 92.3% short interest and $6.2 million in liabilities, and was working to tokenize the equity on Robinhood Chain before pairing it with a meme coin. Rune argued that even $500,000 of buy pressure flowing from on-chain trading into the underlying stock could materially move a company with a $4.8 million market capitalization, while a larger move could trigger a squeeze. Community members believe the company in question may be Farmmi Inc. (NASDAQ: FAMI), though Rune had not endorsed either token as of publication. BIT data cited in the report showed FAMI stock at $0.3511 after the open, up 200% on the day. BlockBeats said the episode carries regulatory risk and cautioned users that Rune has not claimed any token involved.
